Soil for lawn and gardens
We can deliver smaller loads of soil from 4-6 cubic yards and larger loads of 20 tons (18 cubic yards)
Lawn and Garden Mix:
Our Lawn and Garden Mix is comprised of 40% Sandy Loam, 40% black topsoil and 20% compost . The sandy loam provides good drainage. The black dirt provides minerals, nutrients and good water retention. The compost provides slow release nitrogen. We mix and screen our soils on site and can make a custom mix at your request
Price per Cubic Yard: #45
Enriched Black Topsoil:
Our Texas native black topsoil is enriched with 25-30% Compost and is great for new lawns. It does have a high clay content but it is amended with compost to keep it loose and retain a high organic content. It is best used under sod or new lawns. The heaviness and clay content helps it stay put on hills and drainage areas where sandy loam would easily wash out. We screen it down to a half inch minus so its easily spread with shovels and rakes.
Price Per cubic yard $35
Lawn Topdressing:
For our top dressing we mix 50% sandy loam and 50% compost. This allows for plenty of drainage along with a light material that is easy for your current grass to grow through.
Price per yard: $55
